Mixed with ingredients straight from a tropical paradise, this recipe takes our Rye to places we’ve only seen on postcards.

Ingredients

1 ¾ ounces Rittenhouse
Straight Rye Whisky
¼ ounce Luxardo Bitter Bianco
1 ounce Celery Juice
1 ounce Prickly Pear Puree
½ ounce Lemon Juice
½ ounce Simple Syrup (1:1 ratio)
3 dashes Miracle Mile Celery
Coconut Bitters
Dragon Fruit (Garnish)
Celery Leaves (Garnish)

Bartender's Notes

Add all of the ingredients to a shaker and fill with a small amount of crushed ice. Shake, then pour unstrained into a Collins glass. Top with crushed ice and garnish with a large slice of dragon fruit and celery leaves.

I love pairing Rittenhouse with vegetal flavors.
The Rye’s cacao and citrus notes work well with the prickly
pear and coconut bitters, giving the cocktail a nice tropical
layer. The little touch of Bitter Bianco gives an added
touch of bitterness and citrus notes.
